Description : â— Operates heavy road tractor with trailer and/or tandem dump trucks in the operation of a biosolids management program.
â— Inspects, checks and services equipment with diesel, gasoline, oil and water, makes minor mechanical adjustments and emergency repairs. Maintains equipment in good physical condition and reports all mechanical defects.
â— Follows Standard Operating Procedures for equipment.
â— Records all pertinent data resulting from daily operations.
â— Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements : â— Valid Colorado and federal licenses and certification required to operate vehicles and equipment, in particular a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL). Three years experience in the operation of tractor/trailer. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of basic maintenance and emergency repairs. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction. Ability to maintain a variety of written logs/reports. Graduation from high school or GED.
